PLC News User Guide

The PLC News Web Part allows firms to deploy practice specific news using the PLC news feeds.  In order to enhance this ability each story comes with the ability to rate, comment, email and print stories using the icons below each article.

Email a link

This will open your email application with a new email created, the story title in the email title and a link to the story included. This ca be sent to anyone and does not require access to SyseroCA.

Print a story

The opens the story in a window that has a print button in the top right corner. SyseroCA will attempt to open the print dialog once the story has been loaded but if this does not happen click the print icon.

Comment on a story

This icon will show a single speech bubble if no comments have been made and a triple speech bubble if there are existing comments. To read or make a comment, click the speech bubble, type your comment and click post. Comments are stamped with the user's name and the date and time. Comments appear as the most recent at the top. Once you have made a comment you can edit it in My Stories.

Rate a story

If a story has been rated previously, this will show the average rating to date. To rate a story, drag your mouse to the appropriate level. Once you have rated a story, you may re-rate as before and un-rate by rating it at a one and clicking the first star again.
