Workspace Enhancement Utilities
A set of utilities designed to enhance the usage of Workspaces within both the Interwoven Desksite and Filesite clients.
Import Folders
Right
click on a workspace or workspace folder to allow multiple docs and
folders to be imported at once.
Allows users to specify sets of folders and subfolders to be
imported into a workspace.
The folders will be recreated and the documents imported into these
folders.
Export Folders
Right
click on a workspace or workspace folder to export the documents
and/or emails.
The documents will be exported to a set of directories reflecting
the workspace folder structure.
Folder Block
Prevent users from being able to create new document folders wherever they want. This utility allows custom configuration to determine which users (if any) are allowed to create new document folders within workspaces. Users can be allowed to create folders depending on the workspace category, workspace security, group membership and workspace ownership. More importantly users can be prevented from creating new folders unless they have specific rights to do so.
Orphaned Documents
Right click on a workspace and instantly see
a list of documents that have the same attributes as the workspace,
but are not within any of the workspace folders (orphaned
documents). Guest documents are also shown, these are documents that
do not have the same attributes as the workspace, but are present in
the workspace folders.
Orphaned docs can be instantly filed from this screen, simply by
dragging and dropping the document into the relevant workspace
folder.
